Biography
Asko Heikura is a painter, sculptor and teacher on the island of Hailuoto, off Oulu in Northern Finland. His sculpture is at Marjaniemi and part of the Oulu 2026 programme.
Before the bridge opened and the ferry era ended, he gave some three hundred works to Hailuoto and all its living things.
